Animnemonics = Animations as a Mnemonic device

This is a passion project of mine. 

I love Nautical flags. They have been used for communication at sea since ancient times, while the development of the flags we use today started back in mid 17th century!
They are ancient, simple, geometrical language that does not relay on technology.

Most flags have a double meaning: each flag signifies a letter or a number, and most also carry a specific warning or instruction. 
Like signalling that divers are in the water, or that a ship is carrying hazardous goods.

Understanding any language is such a great skill to have and seeing this language is purely visual I wanted to make it easier to learn :)
Animations are a great Mnemonic device for remembering images and their meaning, and so I have set out to create an animation for each flag to make it easier to remember :)
